Services

  • Compulsive Sexual Behaviors (Sex Addiction)

I offer both individual and group therapy for people whose compulsive sexual behaviors have made their lives unmanageable. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate, I use the Carnes’ 30-task model to help you develop the tools needed to get and stay sober.

I also work with couples whose relationship has been profoundly changed by this addiction. Through education and communication, you can gain the clarity you need to move forward with your lives.

  • Sex Therapy

You don’t have to feel ashamed of your struggles with sex.

I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore sexual concerns including  intimacy, desire, performance, confidence, communication, or any emotional or physical barriers to a fulfilling sex life. I provide information and education. There is no nudity or touching.

Overcome sexual anxiety. Experience intimacy with your partner. Connect authentically. Develop hope and understanding for specific sexual obstacles and behaviors.

As I am still in training, discounted rates may be available for this service.

  • Ethical Non-Monogamy Relationship Negotiation

With an emphasis on the ethical part of ENM, I help couples recognize their needs and work together to get them met in relationships that fall on the spectrum of ways people experience romantic and sexual relationships. Swinging, polyamory, and every flavor in between require respect, communication, and consent.

  • Transgender Care

I am certified as a Transgender Care Therapist through the International Transgender Certification Association. I offer therapy services to transgender and non-binary clients of all ages. I don’t believe it’s possible to move through today’s world as a gender diverse person without experiencing some degree of trauma. Wherever you are on your gender journey, this is a safe place for you.

I also work with parents of gender diverse kids. If you want to have a better understanding of your child’s experiences and needs and explore your own reactions, this is a great place to do that work.

  • Gender-Affirming Healthcare Letters of Support

For individuals seeking a mental health professional’s letter of support for gender-affirming healthcare services, I offer a package of an 85-minute interview and the final letter for $100.  It is never my job to question the legitimacy of someone’s gender identity. It is, however, my job to evaluate their understanding of the medical care they are seeking, their expectations of it, and their ability to safely recover from it. I only write letters when I can support the procedure without hesitation. If for any reason I decline to write a letter for you after an 85-minute interview, you will receive my recommendations for moving forward and there will be no charge to you.

  • Queer / LGBTQIA+ Concerns

Your identity is an important part of who you are, but sometimes you’ve felt disconnected from others because they just don’t understand your sexuality. Maybe you’ve been “othered” or put out by people you thought you could trust. Maybe you’ve taken on the voices of others as your own and directed that internalized hatred inward. You’re grappling with your sense of self worth. You deserve better for yourself and from yourself. I’m here to be on your side and empower you to love all the parts of yourself.

  • Sexual Trauma

Sexual trauma is devastating. It impacts the whole person. Regardless of when you experienced it in your life, you know that healing is a long path. I will walk alongside you on that path. Through therapy that is trauma-informed and recovery-centered, we will take that which has always belonged to you and find your wholeness.

  • Kink-Friendly Therapy

Kinky people need mental health care, too! I understand the unique dynamics people develop to meet their needs, both sexual and non-sexual. I am here to listen, celebrate, and help you grow those dynamics in ways that are consistent with your values.

  • Religious Trauma

Religious trauma is a deep sense of mental and emotional suffering that flows from a religious belief system. Usually the result of involvement with high-control religious institutions, religious trauma can impact every aspect of life. Whether your history with religious belief or practice has impacted your sexuality, gender, or some other aspect of who you are, this is a safe place to explore that and heal from it.
